The apartment at No 5 Compass in Ilfracombe was absolutely fantastic! The two bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, perfect for me and my children. The flat-screen TV in the living room made our evenings even more enjoyable. The fully equipped kitchen was a lifesaver, allowing us to prepare meals easily. And having a washing machine and tumble dryer was convenient for keeping our clothes clean during our stay. it felt like a home away from home, and we loved every minute of it.
The only thing I didn't like was that there was only one shower in the apartment.

I recently stayed at a charming Victorian building with high ceilings and the most amazing view from the sitting room. The decor, comfort, and cleanliness of the apartment were excellent. Despite the challenge of climbing several flights of stairs, the view made it all worth it. The location was central and convenient for exploring the harbor. Plus, the hosts thoughtfully provided earplugs to help with the nearby church clock chimes. I highly recommend No 5 Compass - Ilfracombe for a nice and cozy stay.

The view from the apartment was absolutely stunning, better than the photos! It was a pleasure to sit on the deck and overlook the sea, even if the weather was a bit chilly. the apartment itself was very clean and well-fitted out, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the beds were comfy and we appreciated having two bathrooms, even if they were on the smaller side. the location was also great, right on the seafront and a perfect base for exploring the beautiful coast path.
The biggest downside for us was the lack of parking. It was quite a challenge to find a parking space outside the building, and even when we did, we could only park for one hour.

Stayed in a room with a terrace and a balcony. Free WiFi, yay! The towels were so amazing, I couldn't stop caressing them.
Oh, I just loved everything! They should charge me for carrying my bags up the stairs, what a thrill!

We had a full itinerary booked for the 3 days but I wish we actually had one full day just to chill and enjoy the apartment! It was well equipped, and the welcome cupcakes went down a treat! Julie has really gone above and beyond with this little gem. It was so cozy, clean and modern but classy loved the attention to detail! I wish we had stayed longer! The view was better than the photos, which is just breathtaking. Can't wait to book it again! Thank you for having us! from Dubai x. The view from the sitting room was wonderful. Decor, comfort and cleanliness good. Position was central and convenient for the harbour. Lovely to have tea, coffee and wine - but a pint of milk to start us off would have been helpful, as would spare toilet rolls. A problem with the boiler and lack of hot water was soon solved.
Can recommend this hotel.
